Hi, I’m Mary, an artist, art coach, and advocate for creative transformation, holding an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts and over 20 years of teaching experience.
My passion lies in helping people reconnect with their artistic dreams—the ones they set aside for adult responsibilities—so they can rediscover their creativity, develop their unique voice, and create art that has value to them and to others.
Through my online communities and programs, I provide a welcoming space for artists of all levels to explore their creativity, break through self-doubt, and pursue the dreams they thought were out of reach. Don't just take my word for it—hear it from the many artists whose lives and art have been transformed through working with me. www.marytelfer.com/testimonials.html
In addition to making and teaching art, I’ve curated and juried numerous exhibitions across the Midwest, including Women’s Works, Art Fair at the Dole, The Sage Gallery, Wausau Festival of Arts, NISRA, and exhibitions in my own studio. My work has been exhibited extensively across the United States, and in 2017, I was honored with the Women’s Works Artistic Merit Award, an international exhibition.
I’m deeply committed to inspiring others to reconnect with the part of themselves that yearns to create, helping them build confidence and share their unique vision with the world.
