2017 – 2019    Executive Director
Alliance for Animals, Madison, Wisconsin

Identified funding sources and wrote and acquired grants. Wrote effective donor appeals four times a year. Created a sponsorship event package for yearly fundraiser and procured several new sponsors and a new corporate sponsor. Insured that donations were properly recorded, deposited, and acknowledged. Created, planned, organized, and executed events. Wrote and edited newsletter four times a year. Wrote and sent E-news three times a month. Maintained and updated organization website using Word Press. Created posts for organization Facebook page. Kept the organization in the news through various PR tactics including letters to the editor, campaigns, radio/television broadcasts, etc. Served as the point of contact and spokesperson. Developed new literature as required. Managed and motivated volunteer staff to achieve deliberate goals while maintaining a budget. Paid bills and updated licenses/permits. Initiated and oversaw campaigns that furthered mission. Stayed apprised of relevant legislature and alerted members of action to be taken. Spoke at hearings. Responsible for volunteer coordination, membership inquiries, and increased membership.

Coordinated all fine art for monthly 1stFriday art events throughout two main galleries and lobby, hallway, and other/office areas.  Attended all art events. Juried in artists, and maintained all communications with artists throughout installation, the events, and de-installation.  Coordinated inaugural, fine art fair with over fifty artists.  Wrote Calls for Art, press releases, and other communications.  Assisted artists with writing artist statements and other promotional materials. Wrote summaries of art events for staff before the events.
