revenge

Revenge is exactly what the title suggests—a humorous act of artistic retaliation.
After working as an art instructor within the constraints of a corporate craft store, I created a performative presentation disguised as an art lesson. Borrowing the language and optimism of corporate training, the work slowly reveals itself as satire, exposing the absurdity of reducing creativity to formulas, scripts, and sales goals.
Part performance, part institutional critique, Revenge explores the uneasy relationship between art, commerce, and creative freedom.
